Smoke rises from leaves; an old man watches traffic, and we all move on.

For haiku heights September challenge.
Somehow autumn imposes the passage of time on all of us, doesn’t it? another very nice one!
We do don’t we…nice one ~
Very nice haiku – says it as it is – onward to the next of life’s events.
You capture a moment in time with this haiku. Nicely written.
Lovely, meditative. Everything moves on. The pronoun “we” makes me feel one with the leaves and the old man, but also very separate.
that’s the way of life i guess, nice write
Realism. Very unique and unusual take on haiku.
Well done … autumn taken in a picture that’s a bit different as the ones I have read already.
To move on… Is life!!! Nice thought…

Life goes on. What a nice metaphoric take on the prompt. Mine is here:
I like this a lot! Autumn happens in all our lives, doesn’t it?
Like where you’ve taken it.. Somehow, I also see that smoke as a sign of imminent winter too.
yes reality of life indeed…truth of life beautifully portrayed,,,
Oh how poignant!
We all move on, whether we’re ready or not!
