Clouds obscure the moon;
as the owl swoops silently,
a tired mouse stumbles.
For haiku heights September challenge.
That image is clear…the poor mouse ~

(I really wanted to allow the possibility of escape for the mouse in the haiku, but maybe we all have too much belief in owls!).
