cold chimneys with lonely weeds.

For September Haiku Heights – today’s prompt is ‘black’. Coincidentally, today I was in the Black Country, which was the birthplace of the industrial revolution in the UK (but like many similar places around the world) is currently awaiting a renaissance.

That last line is a real shocker. Then it made me remember a bingo hall long ago and far away. Right on.
