Lovely brush of summer’s end ~
lovely thought and beautiful imagery
Yes.
Falling rose petals. Nice, I love the haiku-
It’s still too hot here for roses, summer continues to give us 30C in the day. It has to end in tears (storms like never before).
In Southern California the earth is terminally sleep deprived.
Nice haiku!
oh, how beautiful.
Wow! What to say more … haiku saying much with so less words … why shall I use more words than? Good one.
Love the image of the falling rose petals (and the suggestion of fragrance) as a lead into the exhausted earth. The roses are exhausted too!
That’s lovely. Such a beautiful close to summer.
Very beautiful haiku…I loved the thought of rose petals lulling the tired earth!
Oh, how beautiful. We were in synch with this prompt, both thinking about rose petals and end of summer. It’s such a lovely image 🙂
Very nice
