The difference?
Merely their imagination.

A very small, and quick, poem for Wewritepoems prompt 55, “Everything, and how it all began”. I feel ‘their’ is the most important word in this poem. One is not enough.

And your comment makes it even more interesting. I had to think about the last line for a moment. I like it. So many possibilities thanks to our imaginations.
There is also a quotation which came into my mind, possibly from Pascal (?):
“Mankind is the stars’ way of knowing about stars.”
(or something like this). Much more to contemplate in this subject I feel (!).

Actually, I found difference and nothing the two important words, they are juxtaposed. Is there a difference in nothing? Get a hold of the work of 5th century BC Greek philosopher Parmenides. He was a monist. You could spend a life time on nothing. I enjoyed this three liner, a lot said, you minimalist you!
