Haiku – the empty page
by poetrydiary
Without conflict, there is no
force for creation.
The snow white page stays empty.
A (short) response to wewritepoems prompt 45, which is very timely in my case.

This is such a good haiku.
Thanks Tilly
But you filled it!
an ordinary moment
No blank page here, nice haiku.
Good things come in small parcels.
I don’t really really know from haiku, but I like this poem whatever is the rose. And it sort of clears the palette too! 🙂
Thanks for this. ~neil
Thanks Neil
A bit of a zen quality to this. Nice.
Thanks Irene. I’ve just realised, as well, that Haiku should be 5 -7- 5, not 7-5-7 (and I must have known this somewhere as I’ve always written them properly before). It must have been the zen-like trance I was in at the weekend..!
I like this. A simple statement. But you still filled the page. 🙂

Many thanks Nicole.
